Terrorists Win!

14 November, 2006 at 4:36 pm | In Incompetence Exposed | 35 Comments

Well it’s over. You’ve had your say, and I feel gratified. I told all you patriotic Grand Ole’ Party folk not to vote… and you didn’t! And the terrorists won.
Look at yourselves very very closely, and look what you’ve done. You’ve turned into a godless, amoral society with no rule, no government control over your masses. All with the help of democracy. Think carefully about what good it has done you and promptly switch to your totalitarian roots… because the future is bleak.

The terrorists that you have waged war against for oh so long are now in power, in your own country. What happened to fighting them abroad huh?

You ask: “What will happen now?”

Well, you will be dragged out of your home with a pair of large civil and economic liberty repressing tweesers.

They will take your whole paycheck, your house, your car and give it to the poor.
Oh, if you’re poor they’ll give you money, a car and a house… But it’ll be a crappy car, and the house will be missing the widescreen plasma tv, so you shouldn’t have voted for them.

Oh and some of your income will go towards such obsoleted things like…. you know… uhh… healthcare and education, maybe helping to pay off the astronomical national debt? But who cares really?

And the immorality continues. Imagine how the whole world will suddenly become homosexual, when gay marriage becomes legalised. Imagine big burly men walking down the street and molesting all of your precious little children. And the world police being taken over by rainbows and men holding hands. I’m sorry, but unfortunately you’re gonna need more than flower power when you take on Iran.

But before we get to Iran there’s another war that the terrorists don’t want to fight, in some other nearby country… They hate the troops so much they want to bring them all home to this rotten land called America.

So you knew all this, and yet you still couldn’t rig democracy even with 300 foot Diebold voting machine hacking poles?
You managed to hang Saddam, but where was Pelosi’s death sentence?
Dissapointing…

Moving on to a more celebratory tone, it seems that contrary to these beliefs, most of which I received in responses by Republicans to my previous post, that the American people thought otherwise. The RepubliCans, RepubliCan’ts, RepubliCunts, or whatever you choose to call them lost.
To all those fascist scumbags who commented on my last post: You were wrong. Sucks to you and your beloved Party.

But what does this Democratic victory mean in the larger scale?

It means that Democracy could actually still work…
That the neo-cons are, quite frankly, back to step one in taking over America.
It also means that we must not get carried away when celebrating this victory, and not let our guard loose. The Democrats are are still one corrupt heap of politicians, and all of America’s problems will not be solved by this victory.

I could go off on a rant about how to better America, and perhaps in the future I will provide a guide to improving America’s democracy.
One that will include preferential voting, less lobbying, and a bigger variety of candidates, without the overriding aspect of party politics and paying for your votes.

In the meantime I’ll just celebrate by having gay sex in my government owned house. Public healthcare will pay for the AIDS treatment…

  1. I’m sorry, but I think that you have lot of prejudices. Terrorists, are you talking about something that just hit 2 o 3 times inside your country… how can you know why they attack US if you don’t know their culture, their country, their lives? Do you have an Irak friend to talk about how he see this war? I’m Spanish, we have our own internal terrorist fight (vs. ETA). At Ireland, they have another one. How much citiziens died in Irak? In your country, gays molest childrens??? In Europe isn’t it… may be your US culture don’t think out enought about tollerance real meaning.

  2. A) What the fuck are you on about?

    B) Have you actually read the post?

    C) I’m not an American
    and
    D) You will find I wholeheartedly agree with you…

  3. Oh gawd, that video and the commentary was a hoot. And it was dead on. It’s exactly the insane picture that the republa-hypo-Lying-bigots tried to paint.

Combine that with the removal of habeas corpus and the concentration camps that they built (for us) and it’s not hard to figure out where they had planned to go with this. And they came very close…to close.

Fortunately, their dastardly plans (for their fellow) Americans have taken a severe blow…

And now they are afraid of the very people they demonized and sought to imprison – as they should be – for republibasturds – know this – we will not forget – what you have done to our beloved country and what you did and also tried to do to us.

  4. you know what? lets all take a Fukitol 1000mg and just flip a finger to everyone around us and say ” When I die, I want to be buried upside down so the whole world can kiss my ass!” :) :p

  5. Democrat party terrorists? I wish. At least then something might get done in America rather than the two biggest parties skirting about each other and completely failing to be productive in any lasting sense.

  6. Nice post. You had me going there for a minute. :-)

  7. Funny!!! Great hoot, thanks for the laugh :D

    – Another proud Commie Scum adding to your blog stats

  8. you know maybe you should stop worrying about america’s problems and start worrying about your countries roblems because last time i checked america still has it a lot better than everyother country

and you think that this congress was bad, well i’d like to see this congress get anything done

  9. Would you really like me to refer you to statistics about literacy, infant fertility rate, free press, general standard of living, HDI, health, poverty, education, etc., etc.?

Sorry, but my country just about owns yours in all of those…

  10. well at the end of the day your not an american and your opinion is worthless in america for the simple fact that your not american and you can’t really understand american issues if your just hearing about them through a partisan source

  11. In light of your previous comment, please explain then, what the fuck your country is doing in Iraq?

I see, you’ve also taken a step backwards from your rash generalisation of your country being better than mine…

  12. by being in iraq we are preserving the saftey of the region not to mention the world

and i have not taken a step back in defending america, if america is so bad then why is it called the land of opportunity and why is it that people from all over the world choose to come here insted of other less great countries

and as for your country well since you never want to admit were you are from i cn’t really comment on that can i?

  13. by being in iraq we are preserving the saftey of the region not to mention the world

But “at the end of the day your[sic] not an [Iraqi] and your opinion is worthless in [Iraq] for the simple fact that your[sic] not [Iraqi] and you can’t really understand [Iraqi] issues if your[sic] just hearing about them through a partisan source”
The same way that I can say that I am commenting on America to preserve my country’s interests due to America’s global influence. Hence, preserving the safety of my region, not to mention the world.

if america is so bad then why is it called the land of opportunity
Well, Soviet Russia was called numerous things back in the day. It was a thing called propaganda, and it did not make the USSR a nice place to live.

why is it that people from all over the world choose to come here insted of other less great countries

Sure, there are worse places than America. You could write a thesis on the topic of development of countries, and why some are more developed than others. America, I feel, is the only country “capable” of being better than everyone, but they threw it away on a bunch of evangelical neo-cons…

as for your country well since you never want to admit were you are from i cn’t really comment on that can i?

I have stated numerous times that I am from Australia. I have also commented numerous times on the fact that I will not defend the political situation in my country, because I am not, and never have been a patriot, and am rational enough to realise that my country, like all others is not perfect. However, looking at vital development, and living standard statistics, I can conclude that it exceeds yours in those areas, which to me are the most important for the sake of humanity…

  14. Great post. It’s not worth it arguing with James Roberts. He seems obnoxious. If nobody cared about other countries, we’d all be a bunch of ignorants living in one big ignorant world. I think that’s alarming.

  15. hey junaman its to bad that your prime minister has gone on record as saying that the coalition needs to send more troops.

and do you honestly think that america did a bad thing by taking out a terrible dictator who viciously slaughtered hundreds of thousends of innocent people. so you think that we should let saddam back in power

as for you lightcontrast why am i obnoxious because i have an opinion that is not yours, for thinking that you are no better than junaman.

and if it were up to people like you and junaman then we would all be under nazi control right now, because it’s alarming for other countries to care about what’s going on around them. that’s just asinine

  16. James Roberts,

I think you’re obnoxious because you believe that if anyone is not an American, they have no right to voice any opinion about America. I strongly disagree with that. I think they have every right to, and America is not like it used to be. I wish we could go back to those days when America was just established after winning independence from the British, we were so full of dreams and lofty ideals then and we weren’t entangled in corruption, messy international friendships, and bloody, and ever worsening wars, and 2 at the same time at that. Is that a record or what?!

Why do you have to compare to the US to Australia? Ok, doesn’t Australia have about 14 political parties? I actually think that’s better. I don’t agree with this red vs. blue political battle, liberals vs. conservatives, there needs to be a third party. Why should people feel they are limited to two?

    You said:

“well at the end of the day your not an american and your opinion is worthless in america for the simple fact that your not american and you can’t really understand american issues if your just hearing about them through a partisan source”

Gee, that sounds real open-minded…NOT! Ever consider that he reads US news like the NY Times, Washington Post, and other Western media besides this “partisan source.” Anyone can find them online, I use google and click on the news tab. If you think about it, every source approaches a story from a certain perspective. If you read a Texas source like the Texas Star, you’ll see strong hints of conservative-thinking (I read an online version of it, I’m not from Texas BTW). Every source is a “partisan source” as you so nicely put it…

And one last thing, it’s very narrow-minded to call someone’s opinion asinine without having a valid reason to call it such. Emotional reasoning is “blowing steam” and at best, just blowing a bunch of “hot air.”

I don’t expect you to understand why I called you obnoxious, but that’s my reasoning.

  17. so you would really rather be under a radical facist dictatorship because foreign relations are really that bad.that is why i called your opinion asinine.

and oh yeah the ny times and washington post are really good resources for foreigners to judge america by, those two news papers are the most narrow minded in the world.

and about the two party system, um have you ever heard of the green party, libertarians, the america first party, the american party, the independent party, the communist party of america, the constitution party, etc…the reason there seems to be only two parties is because america is so strongly seperated between conservatives and liberals right now.

and you couldn’t be further from the truth about the media being conservative, your to busy bloviating about how everyone else is wrong and we should only care about me, i find it funny that you take such a radical conservative view on that yet seem to detest me and every single one of my opinions just becasue of the certain political party you think i side with

  18. You don’t think we’re being ruled by Fascists right now? Since 2001, the NSA spied on us, “for our safety.” But if they really cared about our safety, why didn’t Rice do anything when Tenet rushed over to warn her about a terrorist threat, prior to 9/11? Why did Bush and Co. feel they had to blame him for their failings? And Rumsfeld, what did he do? When troops went in in 2001, did you know that their vehicles weren’t properly armed?

Well at least I don’t get news from Fox news. Or what is a better source, Jerusalem Post, Xinhua, Haaretz, Voice of America, CNN, NBC, ABC, al-Jazeera? Hm? I could go on listing sources from around the world that I find news from or that anyone who has access to the net can read.

I didn’t say the media was conservative, I only used the Texas Star as an example of how any source takes a side on an issue. Media can’t possibly write about everything and keep within a certain page limit.

I don’t believe everyone else is wrong. What the hell are you on? I hope you haven’t been listening to Limbaugh, he’s on too many painkillers and has zero credibility, can’t believe people take him seriously.

Your opinions seem one-sided. You think, that America is superior, the best country in the world. I love America, but I know that America is not perfect and America desperately needs reform and a boost in morale because the way things are going right now, a lot of people are fed up with the government. This past election, NH which is a red state, voted blue, all the winners oppose the war and want to improve the quality of life here in the US. How can such a rich country, have so much debt, bankruptcy, and health problems? Credit card debt, college debts are huge. Democrats want to halve the loan interest rates from 6% to 3%. It’s terrible how much people have to pay for insurance premiums and sometimes to the point that they need to have a major medical procedure, but they put it off cuz they can’t afford it and in the long run, it could prove fatal. That’s so sad, if people need for instance, a heart bypass they should get it, but if they can’t afford it and they don’t get it soon enough, they could die. So even with our cutting edge medicine, what good is it if we the people of the United States, can’t afford the insurance premiums and our insurance providers won’t help? I hope that starting this January, things will start to improve for this country.

Which political party do you side with? You sound like a Republican. Or you could be a conservative-leaning Libertarian?

“as for you lightcontrast why am i obnoxious because i have an opinion that is not yours, for thinking that you are no better than junaman.”

Hey, you said it. I haven’t compared you with anybody or said you were worse than anybody, you actually are the one who thinks I’m just as bad as Junaman because I don’t agree with you. I can disagree with opinions but it doesn’t affect how I view people-it doesn’t make me dislike them. But since you are trying your hardest to be difficult, what am I supposed to think, that you’re such a kind, understanding, thoughtful guy? Arguing is not unpleasant, people make it unpleasant. The term argument is from Logic, it means an opinion that can be supported or refuted. If two people yell and scream at each other, that’s not an argument(Who made it mean that? Obviously some person who didn’t take Logic)in the original sense of the word, that’s an altercation or dispute. The thing about arguments or debates, it’s nothing personal, it should be a constructive discussion.

  19. James Roberts, now look here old chap, if Bush, Blair and little Johnny Howard continue on the way that they are, they will kill twice as many Irakis as Saddam did. The streets of Baghdad are running with the blood of innocents, the triumvirate can never win this war,(remember ‘Nam?) When it is all over and the dead counted, Irak will be an islamic country governed by Sharia law, the blood of thousands including the cream of American youth, will have been shed at the whim of Bush and his minions.
When George prays to his God how does he justify this mass murder? I hope that he has nightmares for the rest of his miserable life.

  20. magnarc, Yeah i remember Vietnam very well and i remember being there and not being given the oppurtunity to win there. if t ehdemocrat led congress could have let nixon drop the bomb on hanoi then we would have won the war. but this war is nothing like nam in nam we shouldn’t have been there in the first place, if lyndon johnson hadn’t have lied about the tonkin gulf we would have never been there.

  21. if lyndon johnson hadn’t have lied about the tonkin gulf we would have never been there.

Wow, I have key words for you here:

    Bush, WMDs, Al Qaeda, lie

  22. junaman, you clearly know nothing about the vietnam war, in 1965 vietnam wasn’t a threat to america yet we entered a war with the communist north because they wanted to limit the french that were there for the rubber.

We have found proof that saddam’s regime was working on developing wmds, so it boils down to the fact that vietnam was pointless and iraq had some purpose that contained to america

and just incase your one of those nay sayers america didn’t lose vietnam we tied.

  23. When did I say anything relating to the Vietnam War?

You said that Lyndon Johnston lied about the Tonkin Gulf, and I said that Bush lied about WMDs and Iraq’s link with Al Qaeda.

A “tie” is a loss considering the juxtaposed forced…

  24. you made the correlation between lbj and george bush

lbj started vietnam so you mentioned vietnam

and if anyone lost vietnam it was the french or the south vietnamese considering the majority of american troops left in 1973 and the north took over in april of 1975

  25. Whatever I said in no way showed my lack of knowledge about Vietnam…
That’s right, you cut and run… exactly what you should do in Iraq

  26. junaman, i’ve forgotten five times the amount of knowledge of the vietnam war you ever knew

and yeah we cut and run in vietnam and look what happened. now we have another communist force in the world and vietnam is now the most dangerous place in the world to fly over, civilian airliners get shot down on a regular basis, yeah thats a great reason to cut and run

and the only reason nixon and ford cut and run is because the democrats wouldn’t let us win by droping the bomb.

  27. James, my main man, how on earth can you have a “tied” war when you ran out of Saigon with your tail well and truly between your legs??? The little guys in the black pyjamas stuck it up you bigtime, and those burnous clad Iraki and Iranian freedom fighters are doing the same.
When will you people wake up and realise that you are on a hiding to nothing in Iraq? They don’t want the Americans, Brits, Aussies et al,there or your puppet government.
The day is rapidly approaching when the choppers will once again be seen lifting yanks from rooftops. It is a dead cert. Still George can always say that he helped the economy I guess.

  28. @ James Roberts

Although America did get rid of Saddam, their restructuring plan for Iraq was at best effeccetively non existant and at worst a plan that virtually guaranteed the spiralling into the now fully acknowledged civil war.
    Tactics for Iraq:
    - Collateral Liberation. Bomb the hell out of every city that *certainly* contains WMDs. . Every WMD must be destroyed! That is why we cannot find any…
Remember: Ensure tanks attack journalists to minimise bleeding heart stories for the people back home
    - Ensure Civil Security. By sacking tens of thousand of AK47 armed and trained soldiers, policemen and security guards, the US ensured that Iraq’s Sunni Shiite divide would have an exciting new front with over 100,000 armed, out of work men on the street.
    - Win the support of the locals. Rape old women, beat up protesting boys and transport thousands of Iraqis to the middle of nowhere to be tortured and await a TRIAL for 5 years. Remember not to CHARGE them with a crime.
    - Create a power vacuum in a country that is violently split along ethnic and religious lines. Keep fingers crossed that democracy somehow rises out of the ashes. If all else fails ensure that private investors secure oil fields, bolstering campaign funds for the next election.

  29. great post, and who the hell does this james roberts think he is. he is just another bush clone. Am i right?

  30. I admire you on the willingness to share this info with others – good luck!
